Priceline Pharmacy West Brunswick are always looking for experienced and confident Makeup Artists to join our team. Our pharmacy not only provides services for your medical needs but would also like to promote holistic physical health by offering you beauty services to keep up with your whole aesthetic as well. Not only will you feel good, you will definitely look good in the process!

Do you Love Makeup?

In store, our fabulous Makeup Artists are what we call Beauty Advisors. As a Beauty Advisor, you are experienced and practiced in creating high quality artistry looks. You are comfortable performing back-to-back applications on our busiest days, whilst providing the ultimate customer service experience. Whether it be a bold glitter cut-crease, a dark smoky eye or a glamourous red lip; you can do it all with confidence, and making your customers feel amazing along the way!

Our expectation from you

As a Makeup Artist, this job will also require you to manage the cosmetics and skin care sections which includes ordering, stocktake, and of course achieving sales KPI’s. Although it isn’t a requirement to be knowledgeable in marketing, it will certainly be helpful in managing your role. This will also create in you a sense of responsibility and knowledge in the makeup lines you are selling. This job will give you the experience you need in building up your own skills list as all our employees are top notch and well informed. Help us, as we help you, establish the best in our pharmacy.

How do we guide our Makeup Artist?

At Priceline Pharmacy West Brunswick, we provide all our Make Up Artists with extensive training across our makeup, skincare and fragrance ranges to make sure you are totally confident before getting out on the floor. Most importantly however, you will be shown step-by-step how to provide the exceptional customer service experience that our customers know and love. You will need this properly attend to the needs of our customers and supply them with the services or products they need. We want the full package in each of our Makeup Artist to stay true to our pharmacy’s reputation as the best in the area!

Are you willing to take this commitment?

Our Make Up Artists also require full availability across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays each week. Weekends are our up times as many customers have the time for consult on these days the most. Most of them also want to prepare for their events which they need your expertise for. The Makeup Artist on duty will first conduct a short interview, asking the clients preferences in her makeup look, then will proceed to the make up application. Some time during the week, should the need arise, we may need to call you in, depending on the flow of clients coming into the store.

  • We will be offering casual roles
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday availability is required to accept this role, alongside flexibility to work throughout the week

  1. What will be my responsibilities? You will be driving sales in the cosmetics and skin care categories within the store. You will be involved in all aspects of the retail cycle from stock management to team training to sales!
  2. What qualifications will I need? You will need relevant cosmetic house training.
  3. Will I have KPIs? Absolutely! We love KPI’s and have many targets which are considered minimum standards of providing outstanding customer service!
  4. Will I be selling on the Retail Floor? Yes! We are a small community pharmacy, so that means, being on the retail floor when needed! You will be proficient at managing your time and be constantly aware of balancing being on the retail floor and office based work.
  5. Will I find parking easy? Yes! Free parking is provided
  6. How much will I be paid? Your payment will be based on your qualifications and competence!


As a Makeup Artist/ Beauty Advisor

    • You are knowledgeable in basic makeup application and are willing to delve into more advanced forms of makeup artistry.
    • You are familiar with a wide range of makeup products and are intuitive in picking the right products and techniques to be used on the clients.
    • You have an eye for mixing and matching colors and styles that will suit your client.
    • You are capable of transforming your client’s preferences onto her makeup canvass.
    • You can effectively translate your makeup tips and knowledgeable in a way the client can perceive and understand it well.
    • You are a positive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for people.
    • Your energetic nature thrives in a team environment, contributing to our motivated and supportive team dynamics.
    • You are able to provide empathetic, memorable and authentic customer interactions that truly have customers leaving the store looking and feeling their absolute best.
    • Previous customer service experience is essential; preferably previous retail experience.
    • A completed high-school certificate is also required.
